Mole-Comix was a series of 12 double-page illustrations commissioned by my wonderful editor at the Journal of Cell Science in 2016. From the black and white Mole series grew a technicolor journey for which Mole – aka, an American scientist whose true identity I still do not know – wrote dialogues rather than his normal prose pieces. This led to a novel editorial process in which I would work his script into a true comic strip. Here is the entire series of 12. I managed to find number 6 (!!!). I hope you enjoy these as much as I loved drawing them.
